    In order to finalize your registration and start with telling your video stories with YourStoryz you have to accept our terms and conditions and the terms of use. We recommend you read them before you accept them. You can download the Terms & Conditions and safe them if you like.

    You accept that we are not liable in any way and you use our platform at your own risk. You state that you won’t violate any rights (intellectual or other) of others. And although we do our utmost best to offer you a high-quality platform, we accept no liability of for some reason, at a certain moment are not able to offer this. We need your permission to distribute the videos to the locations that you choose to connect to the service. This ‘connecting’ is a choice that you are offered, but if you like to use this convenient service, we herewith ask your permission to do so. If you are the professional that likes our advanced experience we also need your acceptance on our payment and cancellation policy. You can stop using the paid plan, and fall back to the free service. But you won’t be refunded for fees you already paid.

    Summary of the YourStoryz Terms and Conditions

    YourStoryz is a product of ShareStoryz GmbH, based in Munich, Germany. These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) apply to the use of the video editing tools and related services provided by YourStoryz (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”). By using the Services, the user agrees to these terms.

    1. Use and Licenses

    • The user receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services in accordance with the selected subscription plan.
    • Submitted content remains the property of the user; however, a worldwide, royalty-free license is granted to ShareStoryz to use, distribute, and process this content for service purposes.
    • Third-party content may be provided, which may only be used within the Service and on specified platforms.
    2. Subscriptions and Payments(See Article 5 Subscription Plans)
    • YourStoryz offers free and paid subscription options, including personal, professional, and business plans.
    • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled in time.
    • All fees are non-refundable and may consist of fixed amounts and variable charges, such as for additional storage or custom integrations.
    • Upon termination of a subscription, the account may be downgraded to a free status or deleted, including deletion of content.
    3. Acceptable Use
    • Users may not upload or distribute content that is unlawful, discriminatory, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise violates legislation or these terms.
    • Misuse of accounts, such as sharing login credentials or disrupting the service, is prohibited.
    4. Liability and Warranties (See Article 11 Limitation of Liability)
    • ShareStoryz provides the Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis and, to the extent permitted by law, disclaims all express and implied warranties.
    • ShareStoryz’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the twelve months preceding the claim, with a maximum of €100, unless otherwise legally required.
    • ShareStoryz is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profit, or business opportunities.
    5. Dispute Resolution
    • Disputes between the user and ShareStoryz shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Munich, Germany, excluding class actions and jury trials.
    • An exception applies to disputes eligible for handling by the competent small claims court.
    6. Governing Law
    • This Agreement is governed by German law, taking into account applicable European law. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought before the competent court in Munich, Germany.
    7. Final Provisions
    • If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
    • ShareStoryz reserves the right to amend the terms by publishing an updated version. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
